LABOURS OF LOVE EXHIBITION

Saturday 5th - Saturday 12th April

Treadgolds Warehouse

Curated by Ricardo Reverón Blanco and Gemma Rolls-Bentley, Labours of Love is a ground-breaking exhibition made possible with the generous support of Patrick Holmes, welcoming national-profile queer visual artists to Portsmouth.

The exhibition explores the deep and complex relationship between love and work in the queer community. Love, for many queer individuals, is not simply a natural or effortless emotion, but a powerful act of defiance, perseverance, and self-determination.

QTOPIA MARKET

Saturday 19th April

Staggeringly Good Brewery

Alongside the launch of Staggeringly Good’s brand new ‘Queer Beer’ makers, artists and creators both big and small will be filling the Staggeringly Good Taproom with their amazing creations alongside workshops, activities, and amazing food & drink through the day.

You all loved QTOPIA at last year’s @portsmouthprideuk so much we’ve decided to bring you more of it in a very first market hosted by @staggeringlygoodbeer @therexsarms

We’re looking for amazing queer traders, makers and creators to join the market. No previous experience required as we really wants to encourage anyone who’s ever thought of doing a market stall to apply.

With a ‘pay what you can’ pricing model for stalls as well, and money being raised for @medicalaidpal as well as workshops from @badgecafe and many more through the day, it’s sure to be a busy one!

BADGE CAFE SOCIAL

Saturday 19th April

Joining us from London, artist Ben Walters will be on hand at the QTOPIA Market running his ‘Queer Utopian Hangout’ where you can get crafty and make some beautiful badges.
