The site is largely flat and accessed via drop kerbs, open plan with plenty of quieter spaces, has a raised platform in the VIP area, and we have accessible toilets in multiple locations. If your accessibility needs aren’t met, we’d be keen to hear your feedback to hello@portsmouthpride.org.uk
Yes, for those who need it, there is a limited space available as a raised viewing platform. This is accessed by an ‘honour-system’ on a first-come-first-served basis.
There will be BSL support on both of our stages throughout the day
As our site is open plan and without fenced borders, we don’t have a designated area, but there are plenty of quiet places in the area, if you need a break from the large number of people we’re expecting.
Portsmouth Pride is a free event. However, you can purchase VIP and Meet & Greet tickets in advance.
Yes, there will also be food stalls and a bar available on the day. There will be veggie / vegan and gluten free vendors at the event.
Unfortunately, BBQ’S & Stoves are not permitted in the event area.
There is limited on-street parking around Southsea Common along the seafront (with a large area closed due to the Sea Defence works).
There are two large car parks including accessible spaces and electric charging spaces near Clarence Pier, but we encourage you to come by other transport, if possible - see our Travelling to Pride Page
Dogs are allowed on the Common but please keep all dogs on a leash. Service dogs are permitted throughout the site.
There is no cash machine on site. Palmerston Road with cash machines is a short distance away, there are also cash point at Clarence Pier.
Yes, you can bring folding chairs or picnic blankets to enjoy Pride through the day. We just ask you to be mindful of other people around you.
Unfortunately, these are not permitted in the event area, so that everyone attending can enjoy the event.
During the event Lost property is located at the welfare hub. Please take any lost property you find to them or visit them if you’ve lost something.
We allow amateur cameras to be brought onto the site to take photos for personal use. Professional filming equipment or large camera accessories such as large lenses and tripods are not permitted.
Any photography or footage captured at the event cannot be used for commercial purposes.

Everyone attending the event acknowledges that they likely to be filmed, recorded and/or photographed and the resulting content publicly disseminated across a range of media (including social media) for promotional purposes.
Our VIP area is only available through pre-booked tickets only and is now SOLD OUT. You cannot buy a ticket on the day.
VIP wristbands can be collected in the week leading up to Pride or on the day at accreditation. Please check your emails as this information will be sent out to you prior to the event.
Meet & Greets will take place in the Meet & Greet area at the rear of the HB Main Stage - look for the backstage entrance.
